Can you hear me Santa?

God, this isn't for you. It's for Santa so, you can go listen to someone else. Santa, can you hear me? I am sorry for pouring fish tank water into my sister's water bottle, but she told a lie. Her friend called her fish lips and she said she is not a fish and that she is allergic to fish, but she's not. I proved it my putting the water the fish touch, their bath water into her water bottle. She drank the hole thing and nothing happened. I told her friend and then her friend got me in trouble, but I was doing the right thing by proving she lied. I told my mom and dad I didn't do it. I think they believe me because I gave them my cute look and they always smile when I do that, but I know you saw me and I am sorry about the fish water. Please bring me my presents and I promise to let my sister tells lies forever.

Amen

The Wind did Knock

It was a simple Tuesday filled with waking and playing with a few gum drops in between. As Marble filled her mouth with her fifth orange one, she heard a tap at the door. Never was she allowed to answer it, so she ignored it. Again, the gentle tap was made. Her curiosity could wait no longer so she let it open the door. No one ever said it couldn't, so she let it. Slowly it turned the handle then quickly, and a bit rudely, the wind rushed in. It swirled and twirled around her whispering something she didn't understand. She kindly asked it to leave for strangers were not allowed inside. It politely ignored her and whirled and hurled its way through her house. Its cold bit Marble, then Phillip and lastly it made its way to wherever her mother was.

With a stern command her mother asked, "Marble did you open the door and let the cold air in?"

"No mother," she replied,"My curiosity opened the door and the wind came in without asking.

"Well then you and your curiosity need to get it out of here and close the door."

Marble, being a smart girl, knew that her curiosity could not beat the wind, this would take tenacity. Marble knew she had some of that too.

Dream.....

because you can
And because
It is the only way
To get you
There

No Phillip!

Marble told Phillip "hold on tight". He thought she said "Give it flight". Bears do tend to have a lot of fluff in their ears!

The sadness

Marble caught the sadness. She didn't go to bed with it nor wake up with it. It snuck up on her when she wasn't looking (sometime after brushing her teeth or while drinking bad milk with her morning vitamin). Once it got its clutches around her softer parts, the sadness wouldn't let go. It stayed with her through breakfast, into lunch and well into the afternoon. She was about to give up and let it have all of her, when Phillip stepped in. He refused to see his dear friend suffer any longer. He had the perfect remedy. A smile and a whisper of "I love you".

The Traveler

I have never been
Across the sea
Nor to the hidden area
Of eternity
Both are far
And curiously near
They patiently wait
Just past personal fear
No wars to wage
Nor mountains to climb
I only need
Some peace of mind
For this my friend
Is what you give to me
My journey through
Eternity

Written by me

I wrote this poem this morning...thinking about how I have not really been anywhere "big" or "far". But then I thought, metaphorically, the love I get from people, strangers and loved ones, takes me farther (and further) than any boat or plane could!

Be careful of what you wish for!

Marble always wondered......

what is would be like on the inside of a sugar egg.

So not what she expected!

Marble + Phillip

They really should have their own blog but it takes a lot of time just photographing these two and folding laundry once a month.....HELP!

Marble's Adventures!

I started this adventure with Blythe dolls because I wanted to remember what I loved about my childhood. Not everyone will enjoy these photos because these dolls may look "strange" to them. Adults do tend to be frighted easily, but not all of us :) There is a say, "Don't grow up! It's a trap!" Here is to those that are still allowing their imagination to run free!

Happy Holidays

Drove to a Starbucks in Chino Hills to meet a man interested in my 85mm for my Nikon. Before leaving our house, my husband and I had two coffees each. We got to Starbucks early so we decided to have a few more. Let's just say that we entered our caffeine threshold and the ride home, hilarious!

Side Note: The man decided not to buy then lens. I was quite happy. I don't really need it since we also have a Canon 85mm L 1.2, but the Nikon version is just so handsome!

New logo!

Working on a new business card and logo design. Don't worry, we do not use these cameras on jobs.
